Springful Thinking

Every now and then I like to do a garden painting to give another side of my nature a bit of exercise.  This is based on some photos I took of my garden last spring.  This year spring may take awhile to come out from under all the ice, but I do hear birds singing…

Your painting adds some beauty and color today. I needed that. Yesterday, some negative absurd stuff happened. Late last night, got a call that my brother-in-law was being brought to the local hospital for stroke like symptoms. Headed over there at midnight to comfort my sister.

Thank you for the splash of color. It helps. 🙂

    • Hi Jim,
I’m sorry I didn’t get a chance to write back right away. I’m so sorry about the negative stuff happening. How is your sister and her husband? That sounds pretty scary, and I’m sure she was glad to have you there with her. Thank you for your uplifting words~ you always make me feel better. 🙂

That’s ok. There have been improvements. I just brought my sister here for a quiet nap and lunch. One of their sons is sitting along with a hospital staffer. He is eager to get dressed and go home. That won’t happen right away.

Thanks for your note back. 🙂

  2. Just lovely – your colors always make me feel peaceful. The birds are singing it does sound like spring is just around the corner. Sadly we are waiting another storm to blow in over the weekend. Pooh! xo

  3. Horrors, another storm?! One just passed south of us and wind is howling, I’m holding my breath… may your storm be brief! xo

Wow, really beautiful! Vivid and yet unassuming, rather like springtime itself. I can almost feel the comfortably warm air. Love it! 🙂

  5. May your thinking that is springful
    Soon be turned to flowerbringful.

  6. Your garden and painting are lovely. We’re hearing the birds of spring and hope to see some flowers soon. Yesterday the temperature got up to 50F! 🙂

  7. Hi Barbara,
I’m so pleased you stopped by 🙂 Thank you. Oh, boy, spring!
