    1. Hugs back, Kim! Thank you. I had such a good time with my little bird. First I painted it as a straight portrait, then I painted it as a dark silhouette on a basket, and finally this way. Definitely something I want to explore further.

  3. It’s lovely, and reminds me of art projects we did when I was much younger. All I remember is that colored tissue paper was involved, and that the result was very much stained-glass like. This one shimmers and shines with the same simplicity and light.
