The Daily Painting Movement

Not long ago I heard about The Daily Painting Movement, and was intrigued. Not only is it an inspiring movement, but there is a website dedicated to it called Daily Paintworks. I jumped in and love participating. It is a wonderful way to push my creativity and to highlight bits of nature that I love that wouldn’t warrant a larger canvas. Many of these paintings are 6×6″. The small square format forces an artist to think carefully about design but at the same time is freeing because I can try new ways of expressing myself. If it doesn’t work out, no big deal! I don’t post every day, preferring to intersperse these little pieces with my larger work that I post to my website.

To see my gallery on DailyPaintworks, click here: https://www.dailypaintworks.com/Artists/Melissa_Pierson-10908 . Check it out~I think you’ll like it. Purchasing a painting on the site is very easy and safe. I package my paintings carefully and ship them to you right away. If, after the painting arrives you find it won’t work for you, simply send it back for a refund. Sorry, I cannot pay return shipping.
