Party on the Prairie

Sometimes a girl just has to play, and that is what I did with this painting. I flattened the elements and layered them, playing with color and shape until I arrived at an image that pleased me.

The original of this painting has gone to a collector, but I’m excited to say it is available in a lot of forms at Fine Art America. Follow the link below to find a host of fun products, from prints to puzzles! You can get a mask, too. Any of my paintings can be made into these different products, so let me know if there is one you’d like me to upload there.

I wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving and pray you are all safe and well.

    1. So sweet of you to say so, Steve! Truth is I missed you so much I decided I have to return and see if I can get this to work.

  1. I enjoyed exploring your Fine Art America page, Melissa. Your nature paintings are so beautiful! I even sent a link to the Dragonfly Cardinal Flower to my husband as a hint for my wish list. 🙂

Many Thanksgiving blessings to you and your loved ones!

    1. Thank you so much, Barbara! I’m so glad you like that painting~it is a favorite of mine as well. 🙂

  2. Yay, I’m glad you like this one. I just sold another one like it, so evidently that is a direction I should consider moving in.
